    Good Morning All
    The photo of the junior school is indeed 1955. I attended Slade in 1954/55.
    That is me in the very middle of the front row – 7 in from the left or 7 in from the right.
    I know its only been 60 years but I still remember my time there. Rev Peter Mayhew was the principal. I even have a copy of the 1954 school magazine. If anyone is interested I can arrange a copy.
    I was going to post it to the school along with a copy of the 1944 school magazine – I don’t recall why I have that as I wasn’t even born then but it may be of some interest to any history buffs.

    I believe this is the class of 1955 from Highfields House at Mr Ackerson left Slade at the end of 55 and i believe I can pick my self and my wife made the same pick.
